Kinesys launch LibraWATCH

We are proud to introduce our new load monitoring multi-platform software application LibraWATCH.

LibraWATCH enables load monitoring information to be viewed on the go through a wireless Ethernet connection provided by LibraWIFI. This network connection is fully compatible with Windows, MAC, iOS and Android devices making it easily accessible to everyone.

The free Kinesys application – LibraWATCH can be downloaded from the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad, from Google Play for Android devices and the Kinesys website for PC and Mac computers. Once installed onto a smartphone, computer or tablet you have access to an original and user-friendly view of load data in tabular or graphical form. The interface is universal and remains consistent when deployed on different products, making load data easy to access on the go.

Smartphones and tablets have become an increasingly common tool for entertainment touring crews and Kinesys has made the most of this technology by developing a whole new robust and easy to use load monitoring experience. By using LibraWATCH at a live event, it can provide multiple users the freedom to move around the venue, whilst still having direct access to load data.

But what makes this technology so great is that overload and underload, as well as customised alarms, can be viewed everywhere through multiple devices simultaneously. This means whether you’re a Production Manager, Head Rigger or Chief Technician, you can monitor the load status of the production, having complete control over the integrity, safety and rigging installation in real time, whilst allowing key parameters to be edited remotely.

The LibraWATCH software application is an expansion of our completely integrated Libra range; LibraCELL, LibraPRO and LibraWIFI.

A LibraPRO power supply can connect up to 75 LibraCELLs, receiving load data through a daisy chained XLR4 cable. This information is transported to the LibraWIFI through an Ethernet connection, thereby allowing load cell data to be retrieved wirelessly.

LibraWIFI has a built in Firewall to ensure that only Kinesys data is permitted into the Libra network. This ensures the load data measurements displayed on LibraWATCH are reliable, safe and precise, a must have in the market today.

Libra technology is also available as an option on DigiHoist. DigiHoist is a fixed speed chain hoist controller with advanced features not previously available on similar products. In its basic configuration it can monitor and react to the state of hard limits in chain hoists and it utilises a data connection to allow up to 96 channels to be controlled through a single cable. Options include a LibraCELL upgrade to allow loads to be read by the unit and an Ethernet and encoder option that permits direct connection to a LibraWIFI network so loads from the DigiHoist can be monitored via LibraWATCH.
