The TAIT Navigator Introduction course provides the foundation for using TAIT Navigator software and understanding how to set up your working show environment. It’s designed to create a familiarity with the tools and menus available in Navigator, their use for show creation, automation control, and monitoring.
This class includes:
- Software introduction, practices, and principles. We use simulated axes in a 3D environment to operate and program
- Practical motion exercises, cueing, and rules.
- General automation overview where we discuss TAIT system architecture, troubleshooting practice, how to contact TAIT Support. Familiarization with our E-Stop appliance (ESA), Compass handheld console and Nav Hoist chain hoist.*

This course provides the foundation for using the TAIT Navigator Automation Platform and an understanding of how to set up your working show environment. The course builds a familiarity with the tools and menus available in the Navigator Classic GUI, and the use of our software for show creation, automation control, and monitoring. The Introduction class serves as a prerequisite for attending the more advanced TAIT Navigator Programming class.
